UL94 flame retardant test requirements
1. UL94V-0
A: There is no sample. After the test flame is taken away, there is still a flame burning for more than 10 seconds;
B: For each set of 5 samples, after 10 ignitions, the total time of burning with the flame is no more than 50 seconds;
C: no sample is burned to the fixture;
D: Without any sample, the burning melted droplets drip ignited the underlying cotton;
E: There is no sample, and after a second removal of the test flame, it continues to burn red for more than 30 seconds.
2. UL94V-1
A: There is no sample. After the test flame is taken away, there is still a flame burning for more than 30 seconds;
B: For each set of 5 samples, after 10 ignitions, the total time of burning with the flame is not more than 250 seconds;
C: No sample is burned to the fixture (including the burning of the flame and the burning of the red);
D: Without any sample, the burning melted droplets drip ignited the underlying cotton;
E: No sample, after a second removal of the test flame, continued red burning for more than 60 seconds.
3. UL94V-2
A: There is no sample. After the test flame is taken away, there is still a flame burning for more than 30 seconds;
B: For each set of 5 samples, after 10 ignitions, the total time of burning with the flame is not more than 250 seconds;
C: No sample is burned to the fixture (including the burning of the flame and the burning of the red);
D: Allowing the sample to melt and melt the droplets to ignite the cotton underneath, but the cotton burns for a shorter time;
E: No sample, after a second removal of the test flame, continued red burning for more than 60 seconds.
